9th Grade
Let me introduce you to your transcript and your GPA (Grade Point Average). Your transcript is a document colleges ask for to see what classes you’ve taken, your GPA, and class rank. Your GPA is based on how many As, Bs, or Cs you have in each class. Your class rank is determined by the number of classmates you have and the number of As, Bs, and Cs you had throughout the semester. *Take note that class rank and GPA may change throughout high school.*

As a first-year, continue doing activities outside of school. Get deeper. Think about ways you can change society and create an impact within your community. Create a team and do volunteer work, have the initiative to found a club in your school, do activities that will stand you out and ones that will show your potential.
As a freshman, show colleges that you’re up for the challenge by taking the initiative of doing something different no one has done before. Besides extracurriculars, you should also consider attending college reunions. Try making a list of the colleges you are considering applying to and research the benefits they may bring. Hear what different advisors aspire in students, and think about ways you could be a great fit for what they said. To be sucessful in your freshmen year depends on how you manage your time and how well you're organized.
